If you want to add some new products in your inventory, then click on “New Inventory” option. After clicking, a screen appears in which you have to insert the document date of the inventory and number of the inventory. After that, you have to insert the name of the product you want to add in your inventory. When you insert the name, you can view the on stock, available, reservation of the same product and next to this, you can add the new stock including damage.
If you want to create new inventory for more than 1 product, then use add products option to add as many products you are creating order for. Other than this, you can also add extra text (payment terms, replacement policy & so on) in new inventory.
When finally you inserted all the details of your products, click on “Save” button to save your new product in your existing inventory. Note: Once, the inventory has been created it can no longer be changed or deleted.
To view the current stock available in your inventory, make use of “Current Stock” option. With this option, you can view the list of entire products or goods available in your inventory at one place. Not only of one location, you can view the stock of all different location warehouses at same place. Other than this, you can also search the stock by name and location of the product.
When you click on “Current Stock” option, a list appear in front of you that contains the name of the location at which the stock is available, name of the product, on stock, available, damage, reservation, on order, on delivery, minimum stock and maximum stock. In short, it is a complete database of products available in your inventory.
Search a particular product – From the entire list of stock, if you wish to search a particular product, then with search option section you can easily search the product you are looking for.
View details of particular product – To view the details of any particular product from the list of inventory, then make use of the view option.
Edit details of particular product – In addition to view the details of the particular document, if you want to edit the details of the product, then use edit option.
To view the list of document numbers of your inventory, click on “Inventory Documents” option available in the drop down list of “Inventory” category. After clicking on “Inventory Documents” option, a list of all documents of inventory appear in front of you with some of the details that include type of record, status id, document number, date at which the document is created and the name of the person who created the document in the system.
Search a particular document – From the entire list of documents, if you wish to search a particular document, then with search option section you can easily search the one you are looking for.
View details of particular document – To view the details of any particular document from the list of documents, then make use of the view option.
New Internal Transfer
If you have more than one location in a particular city and wish to move/transfer some of your products from one location to the other location, then use new internal transfer option. Click on “New internal transfer” option available in drop-down list of Inventory. When you click on this option, a page appears in which you have to enter the date, enter the name of location from which you are transferring products, then enter the name of the location from where you are transferring the products. After this, enter the name of the products which are you are transferring and quantity of the product.
If you want to transfer more than 1 product, then use add products option to add as many products you want to transfer from one location to another. Other than this, you can also add extra text (payment terms, replacement policy & so on) in internal inventory transfer. Once done with all details, click on save button to transfer the products. Note: Once, the inventory transfer has been created it can no longer be changed or deleted.
To view the documents of your internal transfer goods, click on “Internal Documents” option. This option displays a list of all documents of the products that you transfer from your one inventory to another with details that include type of record, status id, document number, location where you transferring the products, date at which the internal document is created and name of the person by whom the transfer is created in the system.
View details of particular internal transfer document - If you want to view the details of the particular document from the entire list, then click on the view icon, which is available at right corner of every internal transfer document.
